Supply Bulletins

Supply Bulletins are published for the purpose of disseminating instructions and information prepared by the technical services and staff divisions of the Army Service Forces on supply matters... Supply Bulletins contain no directives pertaining to training or tactical operations, or to administrative organization or administrative procedures in theaters of operations.

Note: The technical services were the bureaus within the Army headquarters which were concerned with weapons, equipment, supplies, and services as well as personnel and training. During World War II, they included the Chemical Warfare Service, Corps of Engineers, Medical Department, Ordnance Department, Quartermaster Corps, Signal Corps, and Transportation Corps. During World War II, the technical services reported to a command called the Army Service Forces.

Supply Bulletins were divided into series by manual numbers. The initial number in the manual number represents the subject, actually the technical service preparing the bulletin. Several series are represented in this list:
