May Pole Dance (1920)

The first May Pole Dance was held in 1903 and was presented by 16 senior women. In 1905, the Innocents Society added the tapping of their successors to the growing traditions. In this same year members of the Black Masque Society, now Mortar Board, first masked their members for the following year.
